Approving a quote by email
No account or password needed. If you received a quote by email, you can approve or reject it directly from that email.
What is a quote approval link?
When your service company sends you a quote for approval, you receive an email with a secure link. Clicking that link opens the quote directly — no account, password, or sign-in required.
The link is unique to that quote. It is valid until the quote's expiry date. Once you approve or reject, the link shows a confirmation page and cannot be used again.
Approving a quote
- Open the email from your service company and click the link to view the quote.
- Review the quote: description of work, line items, quantities, and total including VAT.
- If you are happy to proceed, click Approve.
- Optionally confirm your name.
- You will see a success page confirming the quote has been approved.
Your service company is notified immediately and will be in touch to schedule the work.
Rejecting a quote
- Click the link in the email to open the quote.
- Click Reject.
The service company is notified and the quote is marked as rejected on their system. No work will be scheduled.
If you changed your mind after rejecting, contact your service company directly — they can issue a new quote.
Expired links
Quote approval links expire on the quote's expiry date. If you click the link after it has expired you will see an "This quote has expired" message.
Contact your service company and ask them to reissue the quote with a new expiry date.
What happens after approval?
Once you approve a quote:
- The office is notified instantly and the quote status changes to Approved.
- The office schedules a job and assigns a technician.
- When the work is complete, an invoice is raised and you will receive it by email.
- You can view the invoice and the full job history in the client portal if you have an account.
